W Hotels introduced the first W Sound Suite at W Bali — Seminyak. The music studio is designed for celebrities, musicians and guests alike to record while on the go. Other W Hotels properties will unveil their own similar suites later this year, including the W Hollywood, W Barcelona and W Seattle. “W has a long history of musicians staying, playing and celebrating at our hotels. We know that inspiration can strike at any moment, so the W Sound Suite is today’s tech-savvy version of scribbling lyrics on a cocktail napkin. Bali, a vibrant and creative hub often called ‘the alternative Ibiza,’ is the perfect setting for our first music studio, with Hollywood, Barcelona and Seattle to follow,” said Anthony Ingham, global brand leader, W Hotels Worldwide. The suite is a soundproof room with a spacious lounge. The mixing room offers professional equipment and a private vocal booth with views of the property’s gardens. To celebrate the launch of the new suites, W Hotels will release monthly video sneak peeks into the lives of touring artists, as well as new tracks, mixes and performances. W Bali is also introducing new menu items with a fun, musical twist, such as The Diva — a lobster salad served alongside Lanson Brut Champagne, Osetra caviar and lemonade. Guests who book the W Sound Suite will also receive a private master class to further grow their talents and take full advantage of the suite.
