Virgin Voyages recently revealed a sneak peek of the three ships set to debut in 2020, during an event at a shipyard in Italy.
“The entire ship will be built with an attention to detail, reflecting the craftsmanship and materiality inspired by super yachts. Designed to feel more intimate and connected to the sea, 86 percent of all cabins will feature a sea terrace and 93 percent an ocean view. Virgin Voyages is creating a sophisticated ship and a transformational experience that offers our sailors a place where rejuvenating day-life meets exciting nightlife and everything in between,” said Tom McAlpin, president and CEO, Virgin Voyages.
McAlpin described the Virgin Voyages experience as “adult by design,” with no passengers under the age of 18 permitted.
The ships’ liveries include a silver hull with red accents and a mermaid design on the bow.
Though few other details are announced, interested travelers can place a $500 refundable deposit, to receive access to the initial voyage pre-sale.
