Beginning Oct. 30, Virgin Atlantic makes changes to its Flying Club, providing members with additional benefits. Every seat of a Virgin Atlantic-operated flight will be made available for Flying Club members to purchase using their Virgin Points, including for upgrades.

This change accompanies the airline’s decision to increase points earn rates in Premium and Upper Class, as well as the launch of new Saver reward seats. Now at its lowest possible prices, the new Saver reward seats give Flying Club members the best value, with prices starting even lower than reward seats today. Flights to London will start from as little as 6,000 Virgin Points.
Additionally, new vouchers will remain redeemable for a Companion Seat or upgrade and will be redeemable on any seat in any cabin for any customer. The voucher will be valid up to a maximum of 75,000 points for Flying Club Red tier members or 150,000 points for Flying Club Silver or Gold tier members based on status at the time of voucher redemption.

The number of Virgin Points earned on Upper Class tickets will increase by up to 50 percent and Premium tickets will increase by up to 75 percent, allowing customers to earn even more on Virgin Atlantic. Between now and the launch, customers can book reward seats without any changes to pricing or availability.
These changes mark the airline’s continuing improvements, including the soon-to-open clubhouse at LAX and its partnership with Virgin Red.
