Ca’ di Dio also enjoys a collaboration with fashion brand Malefatte Venezia, which assists with the reintegration of prisoners into society. This project includes the creation of a selection of sustainable gifts such as organic cotton t-shirts, bags recycled from posters and notebooks that feature covers made of wallpaper reclaimed from the hotel rooms. As a further nod to sustainable responsibility, hotel staff members wear shoes by Veneto-based company Dress to Live. The shoe materials are sourced from reclaimed materials that include fishing nets, fabric scraps and industrial plastic.
