Vanilla Airlines joins a few other Asian competitors by flying one of the most competitive routes not only in Asia but throughout the world. The Tokyo-based airline will become the 11th airline to offer non-stop flights between Kansai International Airport in Osaka, Japan, and Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei, Taiwan. The Osaka-Taipei route will also be Vanilla´s first route between the Japanese airport and other cities, as all other Vanilla Airlines flights depart from Narita International Airport in Tokyo. Between late April and mid-September, daily flights will depart from Osaka at 2:35 a.m., and arrive in Taipei at 4:30 a.m., while flights from Taipei to Osaka will leave Taiwan at 9:50 p.m., and arrive at 1:35 a.m. From mid-September, flights will differ by approximately one hour. Vanilla Airlines´ daily flights will join 10 other Asian-based airlines flying the same route, including China Airlines, whose 26 weekly flights make it the most popular choice for travel between Osaka and Taipei.
