United opened its latest Polaris business-class lounge earlier this month at Los Angeles International Airport. The award-winning Polaris experience reflects its destination; the Los Angeles lounge features Southern California style, local artwork and local food and beverages. The lounge is located in Terminal 7, between Gates 73 and 75A. It is part of the airline’s overall $573 million investment in Terminal 7.
“Los Angeles is one of United’s most important gateways, particularly to Asia and Australia, and this lounge provides our customers with a best-in-class experience before they board their flights, especially for those customers with late-night departures and early-morning arrivals,” said Janet Lamkin, president, California, United. “We continue to expand our presence in Los Angeles, connecting customers from all over California and the U.S. to our global network. The addition of the United Polaris lounge is yet another way we provide customers with the best possible travel experience at LAX.”
The new lounge is 12,000 square feet with 140 seats, 272 power outlets and 120 USB ports. Amenities include luxurious shower suites, private daybeds and a full restaurant experience.
The United Polaris lounge at LAX is the fifth Polaris lounge location.
