United Airlines announced 22 new domestic routes for next year.
Non-stop service between New York (EWR) and Hilton Head (HHH), Pensacola (PNS) and Anchorage (ANC) is available thanks to shorter-haul flights shifted to Washington, D.C. (IAD). New service to D.C. includes routes from Elmira, New York (ELM); Lexington, Kentucky (LEX); and Manchester, New Hampshire (MHT). New non-stop service between D.C. and Asheville (AVL) is also available.
“No other airline flies to more cities from the New York/Newark area than United Airlines, and we are excited to add three more nonstops, including the only non-stop service between New York/Newark and Hilton Head Island, and Pensacola, as well as the area’s only non-stop service to Anchorage. We’re also expanding service to key business destinations, including Detroit, St. Louis, Omaha, Richmond, and Kansas City, Missouri,” said Jill Kaplan, president, New York/New Jersey, United Airlines. “New Yorkers don’t stop and neither should their flights.”
On the West Coast, service between San Francisco (SFO) and Columbus, Ohio (CMH), begins June 6. Non-stop service from Los Angeles (LAX) to Eugene, Oregon (EUG); Madison, Wisconsin (MSN); and Pasco, Washington (PSC), begins March 31.
“There’s no substitute for a great network; serving destinations with convenient flight times that our customers want. This is something we continue to expand on in California,” said Janet Lamkin, president, California, United. “We look forward to connecting more of the country with California, for example Columbus and Madison, two important markets for higher learning.”
Starting April 6, non-stop service between Chicago (ORD) and Hilton Head is available.
