Following its final flight in early November, Ukraine International Airlines officially retired its last Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
The retirement of the aircraft means Ukraine International Airlines’ entire fleet of medium-haul aircraft is made of Boeing 737-800 NextGen planes. The new planes can accommodate 186 passengers in two classes. and travel through Ukraine, the Middle East and Europe.
The aircraft offer a new level of comfort for passengers with upgraded fuel efficiency. In addition to the new aircraft, Ukraine International Airlines made strides to combat carbon dioxide emissions.
The airline has flown the 737-300 since its inception in 1992.
