United Airlines and American Airlines suspended routes to the Middle East in the wake of recent developments. United Airlines paused its daily flight between Newark Liberty International Airport and Dubai International Airport. The airline has not yet released an end date for the suspension. This suspension follows the airline’s already suspended flight between New York (JFK) and Tel Aviv (TLV).
Delta Air Lines also announced the suspension of flights between New York and Tel Aviv, through Aug. 31.
Beyond U.S. airlines, many other major airlines also suspended service to the region, including Finnair, Singapore Airlines, Air France, British Airways and KLM.
