Though it’s been 125 years since his death, the works of Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh continue to stir and delight. In commemoration of this anniversary date, the Van Gogh Europe Foundation plans exhibitions and events throughout 2015 in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and England. Working with the theme 125 Years of Inspiration, the collaboration between the Van Gogh Museum, the Kröller-Müller Museum, Van Gogh Brabant and Museum of Fine Arts, Mons also involves numerous cultural institutions that are actively involved in conserving the artist’s heritage located throughout these four countries .

Among the many planned exhibitions are Van Gogh in the Borinage, the Birth of An Artist (Jan. 27–May 17) at the Museum of Fine Arts, Mons, Belgium; Design from the Country of The Potato Eaters (Jan. 24–April 26) and Hockney, Picasso, Tinguely and Other Highlights from the Kunstamlung Würth at the Noordbrabants Museum, the Netherlands; and Van Gogh & Co. (April 25–Sept. 27) at the Kröller-Müller Museum, the Netherlands.
