Marriott International is set to bring luxury hotel brand The Ritz-Carlton to Montenegro in 2023.
The agreement is in place for hotels and residences along the Adriatic Sea. The hotel will feature 120 rooms and suites to encourage relaxation among guests and residents.
If everything goes according to plan, the properties will feature expansive outdoor event spaces. The land is also versatile, allowing for nature trails for hiking and mountain biking.
“The success achieved on this project, bringing the legendary Ritz-Carlton brand to Montenegro, is a result of dedicated work by all parties involved, both from our company, Marriott International, and the Government of Montenegro,” said Mohamed Al Sager, chairman, Al Yasra.
The properties are planned as part of a mixed-use development that will also include a yacht club, villas and a cove.
