A new era for Saudi Arabia is marked by the official opening of The Jeddah EDITION, the brand’s 20^th outpost in the city. The hotel, opened May 2, lies on the Jeddah Corniche, a 19-mile coastal resort area along the Red Sea, and a short drive from destinations like Al-Balad and The Red Sea Mall. Guests of the property can also enjoy views of Jeddah Yacht Club and Marine and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Circuit.

Designed in partnership between EDITION and Yabu Pushelberg, the hotel features 52 guestrooms and 11 suites, including two penthouses. Guests of the property are spoiled with access to a rooftop terrace with a pool, a spa, gym, two lounges, and a signature restaurant helmed by Chef Cédric Vongerichten.

Soaring ceilings and a large orange acrylic sphere by artist Vincent Leroy welcome guests in the lobby. The Lobby Lounge is a light-filled space paying homage to both Saudi Arabian culture and Jeddah’s unforgettable sunsets, while Lobby Bar boasts an original royal purple billiard table by Blatt Billiards and oak coffee tables. The Lobby Bar serves guests day and night, from coffee by a local roaster to teas to handcrafted cocktails.

The hotel’s signature restaurant, Maritime, blends French and Asian cuisine with dishes like local shrimp dumplings accompanied by lemongrass beurre blanc and caviar. Drinks like the non-alcoholic Saffron Spritz complements these tasty plates. The restaurant’s terrace overlooks 150-year-old olive trees.

Guestrooms and suites overlook either the Red Sea or F1 track. Custom furnishings like inset leather headboards, freestanding bathtubs and signature EDITION Le Labo toiletries comprise the details and amenities in these spaces.

Spread over more than 2,500 square feet, the two-bedroom penthouse features two en-suite bathrooms, a spacious living room, dining room with a 10-seat marble table, and a lushly landscaped wrap-around terrace.
