eFlyer Reviews

Driving 5.5 hours from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Concord, New Hampshire, with a pit stop in Boston for lunch and sightseeing, I was excited to lay my head down at our hotel. We arrived around 8 p.m. and The Centennial Hotel looked cozy as we drove up the curved driveway. The staff was warm and friendly when we entered, which was followed by the simplest check-in process I have experienced. We bought the Stay and Ski offer, so our room came with pre-paid lift tickets to nearby Pats Peak ski lodge. Quickly and smoothly, we received our ticket and keys and headed to our room, which was right down the hall, room 100.

The room was large with a decorative fire place, plenty of closet space to hang our our bulky ski gear, a large bed, separate living room area with two comfy chairs, an office space with a desk and chair, and a door that led to our own porch. The room was clean and exactly what I craved after a long drive. The hotel staff provided us with robes, slippers, toiletries, coffee, tea, chocolates and a COVID-19 bag, with hand sanitizer, masks, gloves, lotion, a face refresher spray and Chapstick. It was a nice touch to ensure we knew they were taking precautions to keep guests and staff safe.

Before heading out in the morning to hit the slopes, the staff asked us how our night was and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I asked for a hair dryer as they do not have them in the rooms for sanitization purposes.

Sadly, Granite Restaurant and Bar, the hotel’s restaurant, was closed, so we could not sample any of the dishes. After reading some reviews online of what they offered, I was excited to try it. The staff did give us a list of local restaurants, though, so we weren’t totally out of luck.

Overall, the stay was clean, warm and welcoming. I looking forward to returning next ski season and staying at The Centennial Hotel again.
