The historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Fla. offers a new twist on wellness. Benessere at The Biltmore is ongoing series of interactive programming designed to inspire guests to pursue a healthy lifestyle. The new program includes fitness classes, healthy cooking courses, the latest trends in spa, tailored menu items within the hotel, and a robust selection of wellness activities throughout the property.

Derived from the Italian word meaning “well-being,” Benessere takes a whole-body approach to wellness.

“We developed the Benessere at the Biltmore program as a response to the strong demand from our guests to maintain a healthy lifestyle when traveling,” said Matthias Kammerer, managing director, The Biltmore Hotel. “The program was inspired by The Biltmore’s Mediterranean roots and we are thrilled to offer this new series to our discerning, wellness-minded guests.”

New offerings at the spa include the Mineral Wellness Ritual and Acupuncture. The hotel’s state-of-the-art fitness center features a new Historic Fitness Walk and a Succo Juice and Smoothie Bar, in addition to its more than 100 weekly exercise classes.

Benessere will also be integrated into each of the hotel’s dining venues with health-conscious menu choices infused with seasonal ingredients. Comprehensive programming through the Biltmore’s Culinary Academy will include interactive cooking lessons with themes such as vegan, gluten-free, healthy Italian, and fresh local market.

In the future, The Biltmore plans to add Benessere Breaks to its corporate group offerings, designed to provide unique experiences that nourish and motivate attendees. From meditation to Zumba, these team-building experiences combine wellness with inspiration. Seasonal Benessere Wellness Days will include programming aimed at detoxification, enhanced energy and stress release.
