In hopes of boosting regional trade and tourism, Taiwan announced it will ease visa restrictions for several Asian countries.
The island’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed citizens of the Philippines will be offered visa-free stays up to 30 days on a one-year trial basis, beginning June 1.
The visa-waiver for visitors from Thailand and Brunei will also be extended for another 12 months, after being introduced in August.
Multiple-entry visas will also be offered to the citizens of India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.

Then venture inside a building that stores large amphora vases, including one dating back to the 1200s.
