A major snowstorm hit Chicago last weekend, dumping about a foot of snow in the area. Since moving to my condo, snowstorms really have no impact on me. I actually enjoy watching the snow from my fourth-floor unit.

Snow Daze
I can’t say I’m a fan of snow. I know this probably sounds odd coming from someone who spent four years of her life at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, but snowfall is such a way of life there, sometimes you don’t even notice it. It’s more of an event here in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. However, in this year of 2020, many factors that used to be a headache about snow days changed — like no commute to work!
Beating the Hottest Weekend of the Year
This past weekend was the hottest of the year. Just outside of Philadelphia, temperatures were reaching 99 degrees, with “feels like” temperatures reaching as high as 110 at times.

Spring Has Sprung, But What to Wear?

It is a lovely transition from the dark days of winter, filled with the possibility of hazardous road conditions, canceled flights and lack of daylight during most hours. Once April rolls around, spring is in full bloom. As a frequent traveler myself, this season poses its own set of wardrobe challenges, at least for the Eastern side of the United States.
