A new partnership between Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island and Tropicsurf gives guests at the property yet another fun activity to enjoy throughout the year. Tropicsurf provides a variety of surfing programs, including 60-minute, introductory lessons for beginners, as well as programming for more confident surfers.

Tropicsurf will also offer tow-outs by jet ski, allowing surfers to better reach waves. After each wave, surfers will receive jet ski assistance, allowing them to conserve their energy and stay in the water longer.

According to Four Seasons, some of the nearby best surfing spots include Bombay Beach’s sand patch for first-time surfers or those who haven’t surfed in a while; Bombay Right, for intermediate surfers seeking a powerful push; and Lighthouse Point, for advanced challenges and tube riding.

“In Desroches, surfing nirvana is available to accomplished surfers who seek a private island experience with zero crowds. Desroches represents the holy grail in this age of otherwise crowded lineups. To the contrary, guests can witness high-performance empty waves peel perfectly down the reef most days from the top tier of the resort’s Lighthouse restaurant,” said Mark Winson, general manager, Tropicsurf.
