Beer lovers will soon have a new reason to visit Escondido, Calif., as Stone Brewing is currently constructing a hotel/brewery in the Southern California town, scheduled to welcome guests by 2018.
Aptly named Stone Hotel, the 100,000-square-foot property — situated just a short walk from the Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens — will comprise 99 guestrooms, three bars and growler delivery room service. As guests arrive at the Stone Hotel, they will be greeted with a free beer sample and can enjoy further brews in the pub-esque lobby.
Energy-efficient guestrooms will stun guests with floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies. The Stone Hotel will also feature standard hotel facilities including a ballroom, a pool deck, rooftop garden and outdoor space where beer lovers can host special events. After one too many IPAs, guests can hop on the elevator without having to worry about a designated driver.
With this hotel debut from the nation’s 10th most popular brewery, the future of the beer industry collaborating with the hospitality industry is nothing short of bright.
