Sister resorts Nayara Resort, Spa & Gardens and Nayara Springs, both situated in Costa Rica near Arenal Volcano, welcome a new luxury property to their midst. Nayara Tented Camp, opening in November, is one of the first luxury tented camps in Central America.

The camp offers 21 tents, each with a master suite, en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower and plunge pool, with 12 of the tents interconnecting for group or family stays. After the luxury tented camp opens, a restaurant, pool and swim-up bar joins in early 2020.

For stays before November, the two current Nayara properties welcome guests with their stylish combination of sustainability and luxury. The “super-luxe” hotels were built without removing any trees and even houses its own sloth sanctuary. Fifteen naturally attracted sloths call the sanctuary home, living within the 300 Cecropia trees planted on the property. The tree count rises to 1,000 following the opening of Nayara Tented Camp.

Nayara Springs recently launched three- and five-day wellness experiences, which include yoga sessions, spa treatments and healthy mocktail mixology classes. The adults-only property includes secluded luxury villas.

Nayara Springs also recently opened a new espresso bar, Mi Cafecito, which serves locally grown organic coffee roasted in house. Guests are invited to help pick the beans at a local plantation, learn how to roast them and then create their own personalized blend to enjoy throughout their stay.
