Spirit is now offering non-stop, daily flights from Charlotte (CLT) to Baltimore/Washington (BWI), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Orlando (MCO) and Newark (EWR). The four new routes will operate year-round.
Now the fourth North Carolina destination on Spirit’s lineup, Charlotte joins the ranks of Asheville (AVL), Piedmont Triad (GSO) and Raleigh-Durham (RDU). While these new routes bring plenty of visitors and business travelers in and out of North Carolina, they also offer hundreds of new jobs in the state. North Carolina’s tourism is already on the rise and expected to continue through the summer as more than 15 daily departures will be available across the state.
The West Coast will also see an influx of Spirit travelers, as new routes will operate to Burbank (BUR) and Sacramento (SMF). The cities will be reachable by non-stop service to and from Las Vegas (LAS), three times daily.
Spirit will also service travelers to and from Nashville (BNA), beginning Oct. 10. The new route will operate daily service to six destinations.
