Airbus delivered the 100th aircraft to Sichuan Airlines, China’s largest all-Airbus operator. The new aircraft, an Airbus A321, is equipped with Sharklet fuel-saving wingtip devices and features a two-class cabin seating 194 passengers, including eight seats in business class. Including the latest delivery, Sichuan Airlines’ fleet boasts 93 A320-family aircraft and seven A330-family aircraft. Based in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province in southwestern China, Sichuan Airlines flies to approximately 300 domestic destinations as well as international routes to Asia, Australia and North America.
