The first all-Swedish music festival, Stockholm CA, took place in Los Angeles, Calif. The Scandinavian Airline, SAS, has recently carried out its largest expansion in history to and from the United States, with a direct route between Stockholm (ARN) and Los Angeles (LAX), as well as 10 additional direct routes between the United States and Scandinavia.

Due to its expansion, the airline sponsored the music festival that took place Oct. 15. As the Swedish culture of music, art, TV, film and design continues to expand globally, with more than 4.5 million Swedish descendants in the United States, and an increasing number moving to the United States, the Swedish and American cultures are now connected more than ever.

The festival took place at the Shrine Expo Hall and Grounds, organized by 7^th and Hill Productions and Golden Voice. Artists performing at the festival included Veronica Maggio, Rebecca and Fiona, Salvatore Ganacci, Nause, AronChupa, Icona Pop, Little Dragon, Otto Knows, Elliphant and Mapei.
