The Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara reopens June 1 following a five-month closure due to California mudslides. The AAA Five-Diamond property, which sits on 22 oceanfront acres, required extensive new landscaping and restoration for back-of-house areas and guestrooms.

“On behalf of our 600 passionate and dedicated employees, I am thrilled to announce that our iconic resort is back — and better than ever,” said Karen Earp, general manager, Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara. “We look forward to welcoming our guests ‘home’ to experience the best of the American Riviera, beginning with our prime summer season.”

The Spanish Colonial-style resort, built in 1927, additionally opens a new suite in July. The Anacapa Suite offers 2,500 square feet of luxurious living space with views of the Pacific Ocean and Butterfly Beach. One of several specialty suites and bungalows, it features a large plunge pool, fire pit, private driveway and access to the exclusive Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club.

Also this summer, guests enjoy the resort’s yearly tasting series, featuring local distillers and winemakers. Three tasting events occur across the resort’s venues. New culinary and spa offerings appear as part of this year’s tasting experiences.

The Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara currently offers the Experience More — Resort Credit offer, which includes accommodations and a resort credit up to $300. The credit is accepted at on-site restaurants and bars, the spa and at various resort activities.
