The Rwanda Development Board announced commercial flights will be welcomed back to the country starting Aug. 1.
All passengers, even those in transit, must show proof of a negative COVID-19 test from a certified laboratory taken within 72 hours of arrival. A second test will be administered upon arrival for those entering Rwanda. Results will be available within 24 hours, during which time travelers will be required to self-quarantine in a designated hotel at their own cost.
All tourism activities, including primate trekking, resumed with enhanced COVID-19 prevention measures. Learn more about the reopening guidelines.
