Popular Napa Valley vineyard Rudd Estate recently unveiled a new label, which aims to make the vineyard’s wine available nationwide at an affordable cost.
The Crossroads label will debut with a 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon and a 2017 Sauvignon Blanc.
The original Crossroads label was sold as a limited-time offer between 2004 and 2008. Instead of being a limited-time novelty this time, the label has the full support of an in-house team that has worked on the wines since 2015.
Crossroads also returns at a time when Samantha Rudd has taken over as vintner of the estate. In addition to bringing the Crossroads label back to the forefront, Rudd wants to enhance the Estate’s farming practices and continues to connect communities and individuals through wine.
“The release of Crossroads is our final step in becoming a true Estate. We brought our farming in-house in 2014, started farming organically in 2015, and are now using the fruit our vineyards produce in its entirety, which completes the circle of full stewardship over our land,” said Samantha Rudd, vintner, Rudd Estate.
