Royal Caribbean is sending the first Quantum Ultra Class ship to the Mediterranean. Odyssey of the Seas will deliver Eastern Mediterranean service in 2021, with bookings open for seven-, nine- and 12-night itineraries.
Eastern Mediterranean itineraries make stops in Santorini, Mykonos, Athens, Crete, Jerusalem and other destinations. Cruisers enjoy up to 15 hours of leisure time at every port.
“Odyssey will set the standard for delivering unforgettable European adventures, on which travelers will cruise to an exceptional combination of destinations that are in a league of their own as the most popular ports in the Eastern Mediterranean,” said Michael Bayley, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean International. “With extended stays and overnights, Royal Caribbean is combining amazing itineraries with our game-changing ship to create a truly one-of-a-kind Europe vacation.”
Before Odyssey of the Seas makes its Mediterranean debut, though, it debuts in Fort Lauderdale in November, sailing the Caribbean over the winter and spring months. There, it offers six- and eight-night itineraries, visiting Curacao, Aruba, Grand Cayman and Mexico.
Royal Caribbean promises the ship offers game-changing amenities and entertainment, including the largest indoor space for recreation at sea, a reimagined kids program, all-new dining, a two-level pool deck and more.
