Aer Lingus will begin non-stop flights between Philadelphia International Airport and Dublin (DUB), with the first flight arriving from Dublin March 25, 2018. Aer Lingus will use a Boeing 757 aircraft on the route. American Airlines currently serves Dublin from PHL with year-round, non-stop flights as well.
Air France will begin non-stop service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport beginning March 25, 2018. This new service will be in addition to the current daily Paris flight operated as part of a joint venture with Delta Air Lines.
Delta Air Lines will begin new 777-200LR service between LAX and Paris and Amsterdam, beginning June 16, 2018. The flight from Los Angeles to Paris Charles de Gaulle will operate Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday (returning Wednesday/Friday/Sunday). The flight between LAX and Amsterdam Schiphol will operate Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Sunday with return flights Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday.
Delta also announced its flagship Airbus A350 aircraft will fly on one of four daily flights operating between Detroit Metropolitan International Airport and Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport beginning March 31, 2018. The A350 will also operate between Detroit and Shanghai (PDX) beginning April 19, 2018. With these two flights, Delta will fly five international routes from Detroit with the A350: Detroit and Tokyo-Narita begins Oct. 3, and service to Seoul (INC), Beijing (PEK) and Shanghai starts Nov. 18, and Jan. 17 and April 19, 2018, respectively.
Hong Kong Airlines will begin new non-stop service between San Francisco (SFO) and Hong Kong (HKG) March 25, 2018. The airline began service from Vancouver, B.C. (YVR) in June 2017, and kicks off service from Los Angeles Dec. 18. The airline’s new San Francisco–Hong Kong service will be operated by an A350, with 33 seats in business class, 108 in Economy Comfort and 193 in economy class.
JetBlue will add three daily, round-trip flights between Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport May 3, 2018
