Rosewood Hotels and Resorts announced the opening of the ultra-luxury brand’s first Mainland Chinese resort, Rosewood Sanya.
The new hotel is located on beautiful Hainan Island, featuring 246 ocean-facing guestrooms — 45 of which boast balcony plunge pools.
The hotel was designed with its natural surroundings in mind, incorporating wood, tribal totems and aquatic elements to create a serene, contemporary space.
The hotel is part of an integrated 40-acre resort, which includes Sanya Forum, the largest convention centre in Haitang Bay.
Rosewood Sanya guests can enjoy the hotel’s curated art collections; the HAI infinity pool bar on the 13th floor; five restaurants and lounges featuring a variety of local and international cuisine; a world-class spa, fitness and yoga studio; and bespoke experiences, like the Culinary Journey Under the Stars programme.
