Rosewood Hotels & Resorts adds to its growing collection with Rosewood Hotel Bauer, slated to open in Venice in 2025. Led by Venice-based architect Alberto Torsello and interior design group BAR Studio, the property will lie in the city’s historic San Marco district.
“Rosewood is considered one of the world’s most reputable hotel operators and the new Rosewood Hotel Bauer, directly on the Grand Canal, represents an extraordinary project that is to be completed over the coming three years,” said Heinz Peter Hager, president, SIGNA Italia, the company that owns the building that will house the hotel. “This modern ultra-luxury hotel – in combination with first-class restaurants and an impressive rooftop garden – is set to become Venice’s new center of attraction.”
The new hotel includes 110 rooms, with more than half of the accommodations suites. Rosewood Hotel Bauer will also include several signature suites as well as a presidential suite. In addition to a casual restaurant and wine bar on the ground floor, the hotel will boast a refined Venetian restaurant and rooftop bar.
Rosewood Hotel Bauer’s Italian rooftop garden will offer stunning views of the city. A luxurious wellness facility and an outdoor bar with a pool on the eighth floor will also grace the property. Located at the back of the building directly on Camp San Moise Square, a new luxury retail space spanning near 32,000 square feet will soon invite guests to explore and peruse the area.
