The Seaview Hotel & Restaurant on the northeast coast of the Isle of Wight invites you for a two-night stay that includes a five-course New Year’s Eve feast created by head chef Bruce Theobald, entertainment by British jazz treasure Lee Gibson and her band, dinner on the second night, full English breakfast each morning and return car ferry from Southampton.

Located two minutes from the beach in a charming fishing village, seafood is a natural focus in the hotel dining room. Chef Theobald’s Focus on Fish dinner menus include “posh” fish and chips, soupe de poisson, carpaccio of octopus with fennel and chili, skate wing, clam and chorizo cassoulet and plaice fillets with Solent sea vegetables. Onsite dining options include The Pump Bar with a classic pub menu, and The Naval Bar and Terrace, modeled on a naval wardroom. Seafaring artifacts provide the décor, while menu ingredients come directly from the property’s own Newclose Farm. Farmer Adrian Lax oversees both the vegetable gardens and the care of the deer, cattle, pigs and chickens raised there.
