According to the latest Virtuoso Luxe Report, 2019 will be a strong year for personalized travel.
The Virtuoso Luxe Report surveys travel providers and advisors in 50 countries around the world in an effort to predict which travel trends are on the way for the following year. According to the findings in this year’s report, 2019 will be big for travelers looking for personalized, one-of-a-kind experiences.
The report, available in its entirety online, cites five major trends as the determining factors for 2019 travel trends.
According to the report, travelers look to use social media as at least a partial motivation for travel. In an effort to snap one-of-a-kind pictures, travelers ask for unique experiences. State-of-the-art first- and business-class cabins are a favorite with these travelers as well. In terms of accommodation, travelers continue to look for unique accommodations.
These travelers’ ideas of recreation represent perhaps the least groundbreaking parts of the travel wants. According to the report, they’re looking for once-in-a-lifetime itineraries, like tickets to the Olympics or private tours of the Vatican. Furthermore, travelers also seem to want to aid conservation in travel by viewing and contributing toward the welfare of wild animals.
The report was compiled by surveying 1,071 travel advisors from around the world.
