The Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel debuted following renovations in guestrooms and public spaces. The 97-guestroom property’s new design takes inspiration from its location in the 1st arrondissement, a neighborhood historically filled with fashion designer and jewelers salons; the hotel’s vibe now combines 18th-century style with contemporary Paris through the use of strikingly feminine art pieces, layered patterns and creative texture choices.
“Today’s announcement reaffirms our commitment to strengthening our portfolio of artfully designed properties in destinations such as Paris, where our guests are seeking unscripted travel experiences,” said John Licence, vice president of premium and select brands, Europe, Marriott International. “Each Renaissance hotel is an open invitation to discover the local neighborhood, employing different design principles to introduce a sense of theatricality and the local scene to our guests. This design strategy is particularly evident in our portfolio of six Parisian Renaissance hotels; each a unique interpretation of the locality.”
The new cocktail bar and restaurant Balagan continues the design and serves unique cocktails and Mediterranean fare in a boudoir-like atmosphere. The Le Studio lobby lounge now hosts locally inspired events showcasing music, arts and food.
“We want to encourage curiosity and reframe our guests’ stay through an indigenous lens that leaves them inspired,” said Pierre-Henri Perrin, general manager, Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel. “Through its contemporary design and a kaleidoscope of signature experiences, Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel is perfect for those who value the unexpected and seek the unconventional in their travels.”
