Recaro’s new CL6720 business-class seat with doors took off recently on Iberia’s Airbus A350 cabin, flying Madrid (MAD) to Buenos Aires (EZE), with a total of 31 of the seats in the aircraft’s business-class cabin. The premium-economy and economy cabins also feature Recaro seats.
“The CL6720 on Iberia’s A350 will take the business class experience to the next level, thanks to the seat’s comfort amenities and generous living space,” said Dr. Mark Hiller, CEO, Recaro Aircraft Seating and Recaro Holding. “Our partnership with Iberia has created a unique product that will serve passengers for many years to come while keeping carbon emissions and maintenance costs low.”
The launch customer for the business-class seat, Iberia’s new premium cabin features sliding doors for extra privacy, a 79-inch-long full-flat bed, a honeymoon layout, electronic full-length privacy dividers for the center seats, and direct aisle access. Seats project numbers on the cabin floor for additional convenience.
“Recaro has been a perfect partner in elevating our customers´ travel experience with greater privacy, comfort, warmth, and more space for personal items. A significant improvement in our on-board that our customers are already valuing very positively,” said Javier Sánchez-Prieto, CEO of Iberia.
