The Recaro Aircraft Seating CL3710 entered service March 31, when Etihad Airways’ new Airbus A350-1000 aircraft took its first flight. While an economy-class seat, it’s ideal for long-haul travel and won a 2019 Crystal Cabin Award for its extensive comfort enhancements.

The CL3710 seat boasts a 13.3-inch, high-definition screen, integrated USB charging ports and a personal electronic device holder. Etihad had its signature fixed-wing headrest incorporated into the seat, adapting to passengers of different heights and statures and offering optimal neck support. The seat’s lightweight design offers sustainability benefits by reducing fuel burn and lowering in-flight carbon emissions.
“We are delighted to revitalize our partnership with Etihad Airways, and it’s an honor for our seats to be flying on Etihad’s A350-1000,” said Dr. Mark Hiller, CEO, Recaro Aircraft Seating. “In the past, Etihad Airways and Recaro have successfully worked together and I look forward to this new long-term collaboration.”

Etihad’s fleet of new A350-1000 aircraft boasting the CL3710 originally debuted on short- and medium-haul routes, and will expand to long-haul routes this summer.
“Choosing Recaro as a supplier for the economy class of our A350 aircraft reiterates our desire to deliver the best possible comfort for our guests,” said Terry Daly, executive director guest experience, brand and marketing, Etihad Airways. “At the same time, the Recaro seats are a reliable product with minimal maintenance costs which is important in helping us to deliver a consistently exceptional travel experience for our guests.”

May 31, 2023Homer and Janet by Homer Review
The Marais District, covering swaths of Paris’ 3rd and 4th arrondissments, has a distinctively gritty glamour that reveals it to be one of the city’s great incubators for new French food, fashion and lifestyle trends. It is here Moïse Sfez took on the challenge of creating street food establishments Homer in 2017 and Janet by Homer in 2022, doing it in such a way they both transcend the novelty of being regional American comfort food offered at stylized lunch counters matching up with New England lobster shacks and New York delis. Overwhelming local response and Sfez winning the 2018 Lobster Roll World’s Championship title in Portland, Maine, solidified him as a Paris restaurateur and one of France’s hottest culinary stars.
