The first Charlottesville, Virginia, hotel with a strong focus on curated art just opened.
The property is the second Quirk Hotel to open. The first opened in Richmond Virginia, in 2015. The hotel honors local culture, history and art. In addition to the things setting Quirk Hotel apart, it has a signature dining venue, rooftop bar, indoor lobby lounge and two ballrooms. One of the defining factors includes an in-house art gallery; two historic homes with added amenities are nearby.
The art gallery includes contemporary art by renowned artists. While most of the art is featured in the gallery, it can be found throughout the property. One of the amenities found in the neighboring houses is Neroli Spa, which offers massages, manicures, pedicures and more.
To cap the accommodations off, Bobboo, a cigar bar, features a wide selection of barrel-aged spirits and a variety of cigars to be enjoyed on the porch.

Earlier this year, COOKFOX Architects announced the opening of Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music at Long Branch, New Jersey’s, Monmouth University. This new cultural landmark is dedicated to telling the story of music in this country while celebrating Bruce Springsteen’s work within that tradition. The 30,000-square-foot building houses exhibits about the music of Bruce Springsteen and of other American musical genres; the Springsteen archives; a 240-seat auditorium for concerts, academic lectures and video screenings; and gallery space for changing exhibits.
