JW Marriott recently opened its first hotel in Qufu, a historic destination in China known as the birthplace of Confucius. The JW Marriott Hotel Qufu provides stunning architecture, modern luxury and exceptional service.

The property sits in Qufu’s old city, with nearly 200 guestrooms and suites. All guestrooms feature high ceilings, elegant Chinese accents, in-room technology and walk-in closets. In a nod to the destination’s heritage, the lobby boasts a statue of Confucius underneath a ginkgo tree.

On-site dining includes Residence, the signature restaurant with Cantonese and Knogfu cuisine; JW Kitchen, a smart casual outlet with an open kitchen and international flavors; The Lounge, for views of the atrium and afternoon tea; and the Tea Library, for local tea experiences.

Other public spaces include a 24-hour fitness center and year-round indoor heated swimming pool.
