Premium customers on Qatar Airways’ European routes enjoy updated on-board dining experiences, which include new tableware, menus, cutlery and chinaware. New menus feature signature dishes inspired by route destinations, such as porcini and truffle risotto on flights to Italy.

In business class, passengers now enjoy an afternoon tea experience and signature warm desserts. Small changes across the business-class dining experience include newly added peppercorn and Himalayan pink salt grinders and linen-lined bread baskets.

Healthier options such as fresh salads, berries, breakfast oatmeal and cold-pressed juices are also available.

Enhanced caviar service is offered in first class, accompanied by a Balik-style salmon and showcased on bespoke crystal plates.

“Qatar Airways is thrilled to introduce a whole new on-board dining experience that will push the boundaries of Premium travel for our esteemed passengers. Every new concept was designed and produced with the highest attention to detail and quality, to meet the exacting standards of our passengers,” said Akbar Al Baker, CEO, Qatar Airways Group.

“Qatar Airways is collaborating closely with local farms and suppliers to produce products for our specific needs, promoting a ‘farm to table’ approach. Our in-flight dining menus are designed to align with the four seasons, better incorporating the use of locally-grown produce and tapping into authentic foods of local provenance delivering the very highest international standards.”

The changes follow Qatar Airways’ 2017 dining updates, which allow first- and business-class passengers to pre-select main courses from the on-board menu as many as 14 days in advance and up to 24 hours before departure.

One of Hawai’i’s Most Popular (and Controversial) Attractions Being Demolished

If you haven’t actually climbed them, you’ve seen beautiful photos of them at one time or another: Hawai’i’s Stairway to Heaven, located on Oahu. The 3,922-step hike ascends Koolau Mountain Range and has been illegal to hike since 1987. But this has not stopped travelers and locals from doing so, even with a steep fine of $1,000 for trespassing.
