Princess Cruises released its European sea routes for the 2017 season, including the launch of its first-ever Majestic Princess cruise ship. Six ships will take passengers to more than 160 destinations across Europe. Guests can choose from more than 64 itineraries of varying lengths in locations like the Adriatic Sea, Scandinavia, the British Isles and the Mediterranean Sea. The Majestic Princess´s inaugural voyage will depart from coastal Mediterranean cities like Barcelona and Rome, and sail to some of the Med´s most beautiful locations like Greece and the south of France. The length of these voyages will range from seven to 28 days. The 2017 cruise season also welcomes the launch of the Global Partners + Local Experts program, a collaboration between Princess cruises and local ports of call. Residents and insiders from the various cities at which the cruise ships dock will provide commentary (in the form of videos or on-board sessions) about their hometowns including what to see and do when guests set foot off the ship. They also offer maps and guided tours to bring the history and culture of the location to travelers.
