OpenSkies recently debuted a new premium business lounge in Paris Orly West Airport.
Located just past security and a few feet from the boarding gate, the new lounge features a Manhattan-inspired décor. Its name, 212 Orly West by OpenSkies, references Manhattan’s area code (212) and alludes to the OpenSkies Biz Bed configuration (2/2).
There are dedicated spaces where customers can work, unwind and relax, with power outlets located throughout the lounge and the capacity to print wirelessly from personal devices. Passengers also enjoy a variety of freshly made snack options, as well as a selection of complimentary soda, wines and spirits.
Designed by French architect Nelson Wilmotte, the lounge features contemporary furnishings from Morgan with fabrics from Kvadrat, and ambient lighting fixtures from Jieldé and Gubi. A rotating selection of photographs and paintings done by various contemporary artists will be featured in the lounge, in partnership with the Parisian art gallery, Galerie Polka Paris.
OpenSkies offers daily flights between New York (JFK and EWR) and Paris (ORY), offering a choice of three cabins: Biz Bed, Prem Plus and Eco. All customers are offered an iPad for in-flight entertainment. The lounge is open daily from 7a.m. to 8p.m.
