Oneworld Alliance just launched its first fully branded European lounge in Amsterdam, providing travelers with a new space to unwind and rejuvenate. The opening follows on the heels of the alliance’s recently opened lounge at Incheon International Airport in Seoul this January.

Located within Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the lounge, in collaboration with ASPIRE, can be found in the airport’s non-Schengen departure area. The luxury lounge spans more than 1,550 square feet and features bright, spacious interiors for guests to relax and refuel. The design of the lounge is a subtle nod to Amsterdam with tailor-made lighting pieces inspired by spherical lights often found on many of the city’s arched canal bridges, also reflected in the entrance portal to the lounge. Individual bird silhouettes adorn the lounge bar.

Amenities include a full-service bar with handcrafted cocktails, a buffet serving chef-inspired foods, specialty coffee, high-speed WiFi and private shower facilities.

The lounge sits no more than a 10-minute walk from the alliance member airlines’ departure gates. Eight oneworld member airlines — British Airways, American Airlines, Finnair, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, Royal Air Maroc, Iberia and Royal Jordanian — operate nonstop flights to the airport.

The new lounge will be open to all eligible oneworld customers.
