Norwegian Cruise Line partners with JUST Goods, Inc., in an effort to reduce the water bottles used on its ships.

The partnership allows the cruise line to replace single-use plastic bottles with JUST’s recyclable bottles. The change will first come to Norwegian’s newest ship, Norwegian Encore, when it launches.

Last year, the line stopped using plastic straws. The newest initiative will replace 6 million plastic bottles every year.

This latest effort — the elimination of single-use plastic bottles across our fleet — is just the latest environmentally responsible action we are taking to reduce our footprint and encourage others to protect our natural resources,” said Andy Stuart, president and chief executive officer, Norwegian Cruise Line.
