Hyatt Centric Cairo West Hotel is set to become the second Hyatt-branded property in Cairo, Egypt’s capital city when it opens in 2024.
The 283-room hotel, including 26 suites, joins the 2021-opened Hyatt Regency Cairo West in Cairo’s well-established Pyramids Heights Business Park.
“We are proud to work with ALDAU Development to bring the Hyatt Centric brand to Egypt,” said Ludwig Bouldoukian, regional vice president of development, Middle East and Africa, Hyatt. “This signing is an exciting milestone as the hotel will mark the Hyatt Centric brand debut in Africa, showcasing our commitment to enhancing our lifestyle portfolio, and growing our brand presence in markets that matter most to our guests and World of Hyatt members.”
The design-friendly hotel will have elements of the local culture with décor that includes Egyptian crafts and an art wall, as well as a pool and beautiful landscaped gardens.
“With the city’s main attractions easily accessible, including the new Grand Egyptian Museum (opening in early 2024) and the historic Giza Pyramids complex, the hotel will be the perfect fit for business and leisure travelers looking for accommodations in this increasingly popular Cairo West district,” said Eng. Bassel Sami Saad, chairman, ALDAU Development.
Another attraction for guests is to explore one of Cairo’s biggest and latest malls, situated about a 15-minute drive from the hotel. The Mall of Egypt is where visitors can find the best local and international brands and retailers, as well as Africa’s first indoor ski slope, a 21 multiscreen cinema, and the Magic Planet family entertainment center.
Hyatt Centric is a brand of full-service lifestyle hotels located in prime destinations. Each Centric-branded property offers unique social spaces in the lobby for guests to connect with others. The bar and restaurant are designed to be local hot spots with exceptional Egyptian cuisine and signature cocktails.
Hyatt Centric Cairo West property will be approximately 60 minutes by car from Cairo International Airport and 20 minutes from Sphinx International Airport.

Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa is an award-winning resort on Coconut Road in Bonita Springs, Florida, on the Gulf Coast between Naples and Fort Myers. The property, with 26 acres of tropical landscaping, multiple water slides and numerous dining venues, is a beautiful resort. Last month, I brought my 13-year-old grandson to the property for two days of water-sliding in balmy mid-December weather.

Jan 8, 2025Restaurant Christophe Hay Review
Chef Christophe Hay had already achieved an enviable culinary reputation before he transformed the former 17th-century riverfront hospice in Blois to an extraordinary first-floor namesake restaurant; it’s the centerpiece around which he built Fleur de Loire, his 44-room, 12-suite Relais & Châteaux affiliate.
