The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago’s new Presidential Suite is inspired by an art gallery, offering VIP guests the chance to sleep among museum-quality pieces by artists like Warhol, Magritte, Lichtenstein and Rosenquit.

The new suite includes well-known pieces and those commissioned just for the accommodation, like work from Michael Young, a Chicago-based sculptor. Nearby Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the suite’s notable pieces include:

The two-floor Presidential Suite features a spiral staircase, a full-service kitchen with a spacious island counter and its own entrance, a cozy media room with oversized bean bag chairs, entertainment including flat-screen TVs and video game consoles, a wet bar, a black marble bathroom, two bedrooms with king-sized beds, and another bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub and rain shower.

San Francisco-based design firm BAMO designed the Presidential Suite, showcasing its classic architecture, timeless spaces, heritage and tailored technology, highlighting panoramic views of Navy Pier and Lake Michigan.
