Montage International is taking guest experiences to the next level with a partnership with Adventure IO, a mobile platform offering exclusive adventure experiences led by professional athletes and local experts. Both Montage and Pendry properties will offer excursions with Adventure IO that open the door for one-of-a-kind, locally inspired trips.
Adventure IO programming is available at Montage Deer Valley, Montage Laguna Beach and Pendry San Diego, with additional Montage and Pendry destinations offering the experience throughout 2021 and 2022.
At Montage Deer Valley, guests can take part in Fly Fishing and Vino where they will spend the afternoon fishing world-class rivers Weber, Provo and Green, with expert guide, Joe Mitchell. Another option is off-roading in the Uintas. Guests can explore the open terrain of the Uinta Mountains from behind the wheel of a Can Am Maverick Off-Road Adventure vehicle. The professional snowmobile and motorcycle rider, D.J. Osborne, leads groups through trails, stopping to take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding areas.
Guests at Montage Laguna Beach can learn to fly above water with the new electric hydrofoil from professional instructor and accomplished surfer, Chuck Glynn. Spend two hours outside of Dana Point Harbor riding e-Foils, an experience best described as a mix between surfing, flying and snowboarding. If surfing is more your thing, check out Surf and Skim with Blair Conklin, one of the world’s best skimboarders and surfers. During the half-day excursion, guests will navigate the waves, get surf and skimboarding lessons and learn more about Laguna Beach.
Lastly, at Pendry San Diego, one option guests can choose is the Downtown San Diego Express Run. Guests will join Iman Wilkerson, a local, founder of Step x Step Run Co. and lululemon ambassador, for a guided running tour through downtown. Wilkerson highlights her favorite city sights and routes along the run and more. Another option is a Neighborhood Brewery Tour with Iman Wilkerson. Enjoy local, delicious and cold craft beer while learning more about the city and its local brews.
Although these highlight a couple of options offered at each property, there are plenty more to choose from.
