The first Marriott Marquis in the Middle East and first brand location outside of the United States opened its doors to guests in Doha’s West Bay district this month. An extension of the Marriott Hotels and JW Marriott Hotels brands, Marquis properties are distinguished by their unique offerings and locations, including expansive meeting facilities, multiple restaurants and grand public spaces. The Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel features 580 guestrooms and suites boasting views of the skyline and Arabian Gulf and offers approximately 12,900 square feet of flexible meeting space.
“We are extremely proud to be the first Marriott Marquis property outside of the United States, offering the option of tailoring any kind of event, conference, meeting or social function to our customers’ needs through enhanced facilities and technology,” said Andreas Wissdorf, general manager, Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel.
The Marriott Marquis portfolio currently includes locations in New York, Atlanta, San Francisco, San Diego, Houston and Washington, D.C.
