Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como opens April 15, following an extensive renovation of the historic lakefront property. The private and nature-surrounded hotel is situated in the village of Blevio, near central Como and nearby airports.
The property took over the 19th-century Villa Roccabruna’s 21 guestrooms, 52 suites and two private villas. The renovations give new life to the guestrooms and public areas for a combined Italian and Asian style.
Public spaces include a botanical garden with 50 different species of plants, trees and flowers. CO.MO Bar & Bistrot offers a lakeside terrace for informal dining. L’Aria is contemporary fine dining on the lake. The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como offers four private suites, a beauty salon, fitness center and array of heat and water treatments.
