Lufthansa plans to launch new direct service between San José and Germany in the spring of next year. From April 29, 2016, the German carrier will offer non-stop service five times per week between Frankfurt International Airport and Silicon Valley’s Mineta San José International Airport with 298-seat Airbus A340-300 wide-body aircraft. Lufthansa’s new Frankfurt route becomes one of several new international destinations offered from San José. British Airways plans to launch direct service to London Heathrow International Airport in May 2016, and Hainan Airlines will grow the airport’s trans-Pacific reach with new service from Beijing Capital International Airport in June.

Earlier this year, COOKFOX Architects announced the opening of Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music at Long Branch, New Jersey’s, Monmouth University. This new cultural landmark is dedicated to telling the story of music in this country while celebrating Bruce Springsteen’s work within that tradition.
