Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts marked a milestone with the grand opening of Le Méridien Seoul, the brand’s first hotel in Korea.

Following a multimillion-dollar transformation, the hotel debuts at the centre of the Gangnam district with a stunning contemporary art collection and distinct design.

The grand hotel’s 336 guestrooms, suites and public spaces blend Le Méridien’s distinctive Parisian glam with traditional Korean aesthetics, designed with natural materials and textiles and rich patterns.

The hotel transformed the traditional lobby space into the brand’s signature Le Méridien Hub, which evolves from a bright and fresh coffee house by day to a sophisticated cocktail bar by night. Café Mid-Century and Chef’s Palette are all-day dining restaurants designed with Korean influences, while Elements & Lab24 feature diverse Asian cuisine and new interpretations of Korean classics.

Finally, the hotel is home to M Contemporary Art Centre — the largest cultural and artistic space among hotels in Korea.
