Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, an iconic luxury hotel brand revealed a partnership with Automobili Lamborghini, Italian sports car maker. The partnership offers automotive enthusiasts a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take a spin in some of the rarest cars. Waldorf guests are provided special access to drive customized routes allowing them to travel iconic roadways, sightseeing and highlighting landmarks. Every guest is offered a 30-minute session each day, which is led by a Lamborghini professional driving instructor. The Waldorf Astoria Driving Experiences are set to take place during key events in each destination. For guests wanting to test-drive a Lamborghini without actually hitting the road, they can virtually experience routes through Gear VR Oculus googles. Guests will have the opportunity to digitally travel to prominent Waldorf Astoria destinations where they will be taken on 3D video simulation driving tours. Waldorf Astoria Driving Experiences will take place at the following properties:
- September 8–11 – Waldorf Astoria New York – During the US Open
- October 7– 9 – Trianon Palace Versailles, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel – During the Paris Motor Show
- November 3–7 – Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort – During the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
- November 10–19 – Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah – During the Dubai Motor Festival
- November 20–22 – Waldorf Astoria Ras al Khaimah – During Martyrs’ Day and the UAE’s National Day
