In an effort to surprise and delight guests, Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants now offers a complimentary nightcap at select hotels with plans to roll out the free amenity across its entire portfolio over the next year. Guests can enjoy a small pour with a special snack. Drinks vary from property to property. Samples may include brandy, scotch, cognac and Port paired with snacks such as nuts, a shortbread cookie, chocolate or cheese. The nightcap service, an extension of Kimpton’s free wine hour, is typically offered from 9 p.m. to10:30 p.m. at most properties, while hotels such as the Sky Hotel in Aspen will offer the amenity earlier to accommodate the après-ski crowd.
